This is a great place. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, great food at good prices. The breakfast special of eggs, meat home fries and toast for $3.99 just can't be beat.

We just are there for dinner tonight. I might have given 5 stars except they brought our meals out very late. We sat outside which was greasy with kids. The Menu had lots to offer. They did have a standard kids menu. The waitress was good but we should have been compensated for how long we waited. I had the lobster roll made with mayo . The roll was grilled and yummy. Not too much mayo. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy . My daughter had Mac and cheese which was about a 1/4 of a box of Kraft. So I paid about 20x more than if I had made it myself. But she ate it and was happy. My son had a kids pizza which was tasty . Thick crust and cheesy . Certainly more than he could eAt. Overall a good meal

We arrived on a Friday night with a toddler in tow (early, of course). We were seated right away, the service was friendly, attentive and the food was overall good. We enjoyed nachos, a fish fry, and the pizza. Though, I had the veggie burger which was really just black beans - eh. As we were leaving - the place was PACKED. They have both an inside and outside area and a large bar area as well. With all the people - they could really use more than one women's loo, though.

Music and atmosphere was good at first. Server came quick. After that.. Nothing. Music stopped. A worker said the jukebox wasn't working. My friend had an empty water for more than half an houpr. The place wasn't very busy. We had two people in a booth next to us. Pizza took more than 100 minutes to get to the table. Greasy. Poor. For a touristy spot...bad. I'm sorry to be so darn blunt but it's hard to be sympathetic at this point. P.S.- no chalk for the pool Q's...disappointing. P.S.-P.S.- if I was planning on staying somewhere for 3 hours for mediocre pizza and honestly good beer prices, I'd come here again. Sincerely yours, Isaiah

Bob and Shelly have a winner. Strike Zone is a sports themed (mostly baseball) bar/restaraunt. The food is always great and drinks are plentiful. Open all year for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Their list of beers is impressive and they DO have local brews, just ask. The prime rib is steakhouse quality. The ribs are tender and fall off the bone. Tuesday is now 2 personal pizzas for $5.95 night, Wed. Is all you can eat prime rib & Friday is unlimited haddock night. Whenever there is a game on TV, Strike Zone serves up 35-cent wings (10 minimum.) Their buffalo sauce is excellent. Strike Zone is a great place to hang out. Update: Staff changes have caused inconsistencies to arise. You may find a dish delightful and the next day, the same dish, inedible. Bob, Kevin and Pete seem to have a passion for food, while other members of the kitchen staff, not so much. Though you have no control, it pays to know who's cooking.

My boyfriend and I went to the Strike Zone for breakfast last weekend 9/12/15. When we walked in, it wasn't very busy, but took a good few minutes for us to be noticed. Once we were seated, it took a good 10 minutes for our drink orders to be taken. After 25 minutes of being there the waitress finally came to take our order for our breakfast meals. Another 25 minutes went by and we got our food, which was a total disappointment. After sitting there for nearly an hour to get scrambled eggs, toast, and sausage I was not happy. The food was very bland. No salt and pepper on the table. We asked the waitress for Ketchup and after five minutes we finally got up and got it from an empty table ourselves. My knife was also visibly dirty! From such a popular area I expected much better food and customer service!

Lobster roll was fresh and good. Fries were those terrible seasoned things. Ordered a Cosmo and well done. Nachos just ok. Liked the bar. Nice open space. Better than most places in OOB.

This restaurant was a real disappointment. After completing a triathlon and hankering for some pub-style fare and a couple of beers, this newer sports bar seemed like a good choice. The ample outdoor seating was great, on one of those perfect late summer, August evenings. Too bad the food didn't match it. We were looking for a big finish to what had been an awesome day (my wife completed a half Rev and me, the Olympic-length triathlon), so we were feeling it! Sadly, my pastrami sandwich wasn't even up to chain food standards. Lackluster, without anything making it say "wow." My wife's steak tips were just ok. My son's plate of heaping nachos seemed to be the best of the three dishes and he was fine with his choice. I did opt for a cup of chili before my sandwich, and it was decent. For a sports bar, I also was disappointed in the choices of beer on tap in bottles--pretty minimal. With four new craft breweries in the area (Biddeford-Saco), one tap devoted to a local brew would have been a nice touch.

Went for breakfast at the strike zone with my wife and kids. Overall my meal was good but my daughter had some very dry pancakes. Overall I would say the strike zone was okay.

The drinks and service was great the food was not so great. We ordered a steak and cheese canzone there were maybe 4 steak tips in the whole thing. Nothing but bread and cheese

Awful...a seasonal restaurant in July that does not have lemon for haddock. Really? Pizza is Greek style, so if your looking for Italian, stick to the corner joints. Dirty, staff was useless and I will never visit this place again. BTW, ribs were like plastic. Suggest passing on those too...

Spent 75$ on breakfast and they towed my car. Never will I go back to this despicable "establishment."

We went here for breakfast on Labor Day weekend and had a very nice breakfast on the outside Terrace. Was not expensive, and food and service was decent. Good coffee too. A tip- street parking was free in the morning before 10:00am.

3.5 if I could ( LAME YELP ADMINS ! ) DRAFT BEER SELECTION : 4 STARS Best in OOB I saw, not best in the World. APPS: 3 STARS Buff fingers etc, acceptable. AMBIENCE: 4 STARS Not a locals joint. Close to our fleabag Motel, and the center of town. Decent mix of folks. LOCATION: 4 STARS The best place close to the intersection to grab a bite or brew.

Great food, clean establishment, excellent wait staff! Have gone here many times over the years and they have probably the best lobster roll in the state! I have lived in Maine all my life and have devoured quite a few lobster rolls. BIG toasted, buttery bun, stuffed with tender lobster claw meat! They also have great breakfast food. Everything is really reasonably priced.

My family and I love the Strike Zone!! We have a beach house in OOB and we make it a tradition to stop in everytime we are up!! Great menu! Great prices! Great people!!

During the winter months in Old Orchard Beach, not much is open. Strike Zone is one of a few restaurants that stay open for the locals and nearby towns. It's a typical sports themed restaurant with a bar and screens displaying sports games at every angle so you never have to look to far. They were showing the NCAA tournament games when I was eating. I enjoyed excellent service by our waitress who was readily available and quick to serve us. The menu features your typical bar food, but with a Maine twist. They have lobster rolls, lobster sandwiches, and clam cakes as well as the typical burgers, calzones, chicken sandwiches, wings, etc. My friend had a BBQ burger with a slice of ham on top. Sounds strange? He enjoyed it! I had a calzone that was big enough for both of our dinners! The food is a little greasy, but who doesn't enjoy grease on a cold night in a windy beach town? Also, their fries are some of the best I've had. Whether you are here in the dead of winter, or during the beach going months, you'll be sure to enjoy this place.

Walked in, and was ignored. Asked the waitress standing by the bar if we seat ourselves, and she responded with a sarcastic "yeah" depite there being no signs or other way to tell. Sat down at a booth, and the waitress sat there stacking cups, and ignoring us for a full 5 minutes even though we had just spoken to her about where to sit. We walked out, absolutely HORRIBLE service.

I just recently moved to Old Orchard..... My friend kept telling me about THE STRIKE ZONE ....I met her there for breakfast one day...And the rest is history.... The food is always fresh...I haven't had any complaints and my friends haven't had any complaints either.... They have a great drink selection. They have the macaroni balls that are to die for!!! You'll never be the same after eating some!! They have some great specials every day/night!! Their pizza is very good as well as their hamburgers!!! They have a "in the zone" breakfast special for only $3.99 which hits the spot!! If you're looking for some good food...And you're in OOB... I would suggest THE STRIKE ZONE!! Enjoy!!

Always open, great specials (try their awesome wings during NFL games for a quarter a piece) and a wife variety of local handcrafted ales and lagers from super-tart to rich and smooth. About the only sports bar I would take my family.

Wow. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, Worst service i've ever experienced in my life...I created this account just to review this place. Do yourself a favor dont go here. There is too much stuff wrong with this place from the manager on down. Did not get to speak to Ron the owner because he was not in and she would not give out his number. From the first time we stepped in the door we were greeted with a "what do you want?" attitude... i sat down with my party and the food took at least an hour to come to the table, only to be horrible and tasteless. the waitress didnt even ask if anyone wanted anything, she would just throw things on the table and walk away, not even ask if anyone needed anything, it took me 30 mins just to catch her to order my drink. My friend had the nachos which look like someone vomited on them, beans, green peppers and misc things thrown on top with cold cheese. when he had a few bites he complained it wasnt good and ask for something else in exchange, the manager said no, you have to pay for it anyways. so when asked for a refund she said he had to pay or she would call the cops, and the owner has cameras and is watching everything...over a simple nacho dish. And the grilled cheese is more like grilled bread. Overall very negative atmosphere, everyone was in a bad mood and treated the customers like dirt. According to the manager, the owner is full aware of what is going on there and those are his policies, i hope this is not true. She claims that shes been a manager for 30 yrs, but seemed like she knew nothing about how the restaurant business is ran...apparently they have a "customers come last policy", AVOID THIS PLACE, rude staff, horrible service...and if you dont like something, oh well...its your fault....
